In the Memphis airport yesterday afternoon, I bought a couple of books. This one, Amish Grace is about the 2006 school shooting in Nickel Mines, PA and the practice of forgiveness the Amish demonstrated following it.
I devoured the first 100 pages before I got home. This book means a great deal to me. I think in all of my religious explorations, the beliefs of the Anabaptists have been closest to mine. A lot of the time, I feel like such a weirdo because of my “unique” system of beliefs. This book reminds me that I am not unique.
