Dec 7: Forever Friends

There are some people who come into our lives and though time and distance may separate they never leave our hearts.
My friend Mikey is just that kind of person. We worked together in NH. He introduced me to myjoefisch AND found my barn for me to live in. Mikey taught me how to travel. He also taught me one of the most important lessons I ever learned about keeping the bad times in perspective.
I have great memories of almost getting arrested for procuring glass insulators from abandoned poles in Iowa with Mike. đŸ˜‰
Although I have not seen my friend in YEARS, every now and then he asks for my address. A few days later a little something that says, “I haven’t forgotten you” arrives like this little Mickey Mouse that I found in my mailbox this week.
Mikey, I love you and am so happy that you are one of my forever friends!
